While watching ( for hours ) all the latest A/W Fashion Shows from Paris I've noticed that Céline brought on the catwalk models with just one single earring, even Style.com noticed it ( picture above ) so - after the earcuff - this will be probably one trend for the season…I don't like that much the mono-earring ( that also a couple of Springs ago tried to be in fashion without success ) I feel like I forgot something at home…while the earcuff is a new accessory I'm in love with!

Spulciando le passerelle per l'Autunno-Inverno prossimo ho notato che Céline ha proposto il monorecchino, l'ha notato anche Style.com per cui è molto probabile che la cosa andrà…personalmente non mi fa impazzire, preferisco allora l'earcuff che almeno è un accessorio un po' più' nuovo…poi 'sta cosa dell'orecchino singolo era già andata ( con scarso successo ) qualche estate fa ( sei a corto di idee Phoebe????? ) per cui - avrete capito - non sono entusiasta…Buon Lunedì!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dopo averlo tanto invocato, finalmente il foulard è tornato!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never say Never, Ladies, as I'm starting liking these kind of Birkenstock…I'm the first to be shocked, but they will be everywhere next Spring and I must admit that, with the right outfit, they're not bad at all…All the most influential Designers had, at list a pair, in their Resort Collection such as Phoebe Philo ( who started it all ), Alessandro Dell'Acqua for N°21, Isabel Marant & obviously Zara ( in the pic ).

ANd THe WiNNeR iS...

There is definitely a Designer's Competition going on: Who makes the ugliest shoe every season?????? Last Summer Phoebe was the winner with the furry revisitation of the Birkenstock ( they were horrible, but sold out EVERYWHERE ) while this Fall probably the Gold Medal goes to Stella for these chunky shoes...of course the Fashion Tribe doesn't even have an opinion on an item & just run to put their hands on it as many ( aka other Bloggers & Co. ) just have them...good taste is now probably a bad word and this is really the only side of Fashion that I don't like...don't tell me these shoes are nice ( in white they're even worst if possible ) 'cause if you will buy them it's just because you've seen them on others...same story for the Céline Birkenstock, I just "save" the Céline slip-on that are now very popular, they're not ugly as the others & really seems comfortable...

Ultimamente sembra ci sia una sfida tra i Designer a chi fa la scarpa piu' brutta...aveva iniziato Phoebe Philo quest'estate sfidandoci con le Birkenstock pelose ( inguardabili eppure sold out OVUNQUE ) ora è la volta di Stella McCartney che rilancia con queste "chunky shoes" allucinanti ( che Vi risparmio in bianco che sono - se possibile - anche peggio )...e la Tribù - fatemelo dire - senza un minimo di personalità giu' ad accapigliarsi per questo obbrobrio...compratele pure se Vi piacciono, ma non venitemi a raccontare che son belle o raffinate ( ma la raffinatezza è un concetto antico purtroppo superato da un bel po' ndr ) comunque attente ad incappare in qualche fashionista carrarmato munita perchè se Vi pestano un piede sono dolori....Buona Giornata!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Continuano i cambi e salta la poltrona di Marc Jacobs da Vuitton...cronaca di un divorzio annunciato da quando c'è in giro libero e nullafacente Nicholas Ghesquiere...non sono una grande fan di Marc Jacobs, nè tantomeno di Vuitton, ma è stato indubbiamente un sodalizio fruttuoso per entrambi, 15 anni di stile e di rinascita per un colosso che nel 1998 era assai affievolito...vedremo chi la spunterà in quanto si vocifera parecchio anche di Raf Simmons o Phoebe Philo ( noooo Phoebe noooo Vi prego lasciatemela da Celine... ) Marc Jacobs comunque da fare ne avrà, dedicandosi alle Sue due linee che vanno alla grande...Buon Lunedi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've already wrote a post ( here ) about the Sixtieth Anniversary of the Maison Chloé, but I've found these gorgeous illustrations from the talented Sandra Suy ( she reminds me a lot Garance Dore', but maybe she's even better... ) made to celebrate a Re-edition of the best sellers from all the Designers and decided they deserved a post...it's a wonderful Brand, that I've always loved, but my favourite were the years when Phoebe Philo was the Creative Director...I remember I dreamed of the Paddington night and day & when I finally succeeded ( after months of savings & an endless waiting list ) I was the happiest girl on earth...So discover them after the jump and have a lovely weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!

Avevo già scritto ( qui ) del Sessantesimo Anniversario della Maison Chloé, riprendo il discorso perchè è da un po' che avevo salvato queste illustrazioni deliziose della eccezionale Sandra Suy ( ricorda un po' Garance Doré, come genere, ma forse è anche meglio ) commissionate per celebrare una Re-edition dei piu' grandi successi del Brand...personalmente l'ho sempre amato, ma l'epoca d'oro in cui mi ricordo lo sognavo anche di notte è stato il periodo in cui era disegnato da Phoebe Philo ( avevate dubbi in merito???? ), sbavavo per la Paddington e quando ( dopo mesi di risparmio meticoloso e lista d'attesa infinita ndr ) sono riuscita ad agguantarne una color panna sono stata la persona piu' felice della terra...( unico neo pesava un quintale - anche vuota - nota costante di tutte le borse Philo, anche la Celine per la verità non scherza, mi verrà la scoliosi, ma si vive una volta sola... ). Diciamo che la Collezione estiva di Céline, non è una delle mie preferite, ma c'è da dire che Phoebe Philo stava per avere il terzo figlio ed è comprensibile che non sia stata la Sua priorità...i nodi di pelle ( sia bracciali che fascia per la testa ) mi piacciono, così come le Trio bag che si arrotolano, ma con i vestiti non è scattato il solito colpo di fulmine ( mentre la Resort era da infarto secco )...Mi sono sempre chiesta poi perché, negli ultimi anni, Daria Werbowy fosse la musa e star indiscussa di tutte le Campagne...finalmente ho trovato la risposta: è la sosia di Phoebe, guardate dopo il jump, sembrano sorelle...Buon Lunedì!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Attitudes" that features pieces, archive photos & never before published drawings from all the Maison's Designers in these years: starting from Gaby Aghion ( the label's visionary founder ), to Karl Lagerfeld ( the pic above is one of his sketches for SS 1983 ), Martine Sitbon, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo, Hannah McGibbon & the current Creative Director Claire Waight Keller...Have a lovely day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quest'anno la Maison Chloé festeggia il Suo Sessantesimo Anniversario con una Mostra Evento al Palais de Tokyo di Parigi: "Chloé. Attitudes"( in programma fino al 19 novembre ) che ripercorre attraverso foto, capi d'archivio, sketch inediti ( quello sopra e' di Karl Lagerfeld per la Collezione Primavera-Estate 1983 - ndr ) la Storia del Brand, ricordando tutti i Designers che si sono succeduti alla Guida Creativa: dalla fondatrice Gaby Aghion, che ha avuto l'intuizione geniale di un pret-à-porter deluxe, ad un giovane Karl Lagerfeld, fino a Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo e all'attuale Claire Waight Keller...questa non ho fatto in tempo a vederla, ma davvero mi sarebbe piaciuta...Buona Giornata!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lo so. A causa di questa borsa probabilmente divorzierò.
