ReCoRD CoLD...

I'm astonished by the incredible & wizard cold weather in the United States…reading that New York is freezing with a temperature like -30° left me speechless, I've been there so many times for my real work even with the snow, but this is really too much…I wonder where we all will end with this crazy weather, maybe it's better not to think about it...Happy Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Non ho letto i giornali per circa 36 ore perché la ripresa dei ritmi ( figlio-marito-lavoro-casa-spesa-blog ) mi ha lievemente traumatizzato e ieri, quando gli ho dato una scorsa veloce, ho appreso che l'America è stata flagellata dal gelo polare e che a New York faceva -30°…Santa pace -30° è allucinante io a New York ci sono stata parecchie volte e vi assicuro che già intorno allo zero o poco meno era da morire…Comunque per fortuna tra oggi e domani passa, newyorchesi avete tutta la mia solidarietà!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight I was completely asleep, start changing channels on my Tv until I found the movie Sliding Doors... I looooove this movie and adoooore Gwyneth Paltrow, so I saw it until the end... this morning I was thinking about it while sipping my coffee... many directions on our way trying to take the right one...after many mistakes I took the right direction and I was wondering what would happened if I took another... this photo in nyc with the Standard Hotel sliding door seems very appropriate now... what about you, have you ever think about it?????????? xoxoxoxo

Stanotte ( completamente insonne ) cambiavo canali senza sosta finchè ho trovato Sliding Doors che iniziava...ahhhh amooo questo film e adooorooo gwyneth paltrow, x cui me lo sono rivisto ( x la 50esima volta ) fino alla fine...stamane ci pensavo mentre facevo il caffè...sono tante le direzioni che puo' prendere la nostra vita e siamo noi, artefici del nostro destino, che decidiamo quale prendere...dopo alcuni errori io penso di aver preso la via giusta e chissa' che sarebbe successo se quel giorno non fossi stata in quel posto...questa foto con la porta girevole ( gialla!!! ndr ) dello Standard a nyc mi sembra totalmente appropriata oggi... e voi, ci avete mai pensato????? (l'anno sta finendo, tempo di bilanci, oggi mi sento filosofa...) bacibaci

Here some snapshots of my last day in nyc...after the West Village we had lunch at Sant Ambroeus and went to the Meatpacking to do some shopping...I found an amazing cape on sale at Diane Von Furstemberg ( I'll show you in another post ) and took a look @the brand new Marni store...then we came back to the hotel for blogging and packing... xoxoxoxo

Ecco alcuni scatti dell'ultimo giorno a nyc...dopo aver pranzato al Sant Ambroeus nel Village siamo tornati nel Meatpacking x un po' di shopping...ho comprato una cappa pazzesca da Diane Von Furstemberg in saldo ( che poi vi mostrerò ) e poi non potevo non fare un salto nel nuovissimo negozio Marni nel Meatpacking...alla fine distrutti siamo tornati in albergo per aggiornare il blog e fare le valigie... xoxoxoxo
